Eyelid spasms? We have a solution.
Blepharospasm is an involuntary spasm of the eyelids.
Blepharospasm can be frustrating, uncomfortable, interfere with daily activities both professionally and socially, cause great emotional strain and trauma, and even prevent someone from living their potential. In fact in severe cases it can be completely debilitating.
Many patients don’t know Botox can help, or understandably give up after trying Botox several times elsewhere. Some of the most challenging aspects of treating blepharospasm are inadequate treatment, early recurrence, a droopy eyelid, excessive weakening of the eyelid, and/or pain during the procedure.
Those who haven’t found relief sometimes decide to live with the spasms, take oral medications, or undergo surgery.
But that doesn’t always need to be the case.
Dr. Isaacs is an expert in treating patients with blepharospasm (and hemifacial spasm). He has fine-tuned a treatment protocol to help patients battle the emotional and physical challenges of blepharospasm.
Dr. Isaacs firmly believes that you should live your life to the fullest and that you should not limit your life due to this problem or any problem. Many patients are referred to him after having tried alternatives or even Botox elsewhere without success. They are ready to give up after trying several times without realizing that there are alternative methods available.
Dr. Isaacs wants patients to know that treatment options are available. It may take some patience on the part of both the physician and patient, but in his experience the results have been extraordinary.
